The fifth and last meeting of the Advisory Group for the European Labour Authority (ELA) concluded its work with a full agreement on its final report. This report contains conclusions and recommendations set out ahead of the formal adoption of the ELA regulation by the Council.

Over the last year, the Advisory Group discussed the future tasks of the ELA, namely information, cooperation and exchange of information, inspections, analyses and risk assessments, capacity building and mediation, as well as horizontal aspects and transitional arrangements.

The fully-fledged recommendations make concrete proposals on the best way to carry out the authority tasks on cross-border mobility and pragmatic reflections concerning the profile, working arrangements and reporting of the future National Liaison Officers. The Advisory Group report will be sent to the incoming Management Board of the Authority.
